- Program hours: from school dismissal until 6:30 a.m. and from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. Early dismissal days from school dismissal until 2:30 p.m.
- The program will be offered in the cafeteria, gymnasium, and/or classrooms in the main building. Snacks are served to program youth (Youth are advised to bring their own snack if your youth does not prefer the one the program offers).
- On early dismissal days, the program is open if weather permits. The program will always be closed when the school is closed. Please check the School Calendar & listen to weather stations for school CLOSINGS.
- All staff are certified in the following: C.P.R., First Aid, Fire Safety, and Childcare classes. Each staff member of Magna Prep enjoys working with youth. It’s NOT just a job! It’s an investment!
The program’s goal is to empower, prepare, and Enrich Youth Academically for THEIR future.
- Note:***WHEN PROGRAM OPERATES FOR (3) DAYS IT IS A FULL PAYMENT WEEK***
Parents are not charged for weeks the program is closed. Payments are divided up throughout the course of the year to determine the monthly fee. For example, the total cost of the program is divided up by how many weeks are in the school year. Therefore, the cost of the program is $40 weekly. However, we offer other alternatives.
- All Payments are due Biweekly or Monthly. Payments are due at the beginning of the week or month.
- LATE PICK-UP FEES START AT 5:30 @ $5.00 PER 5 MINUTES – NO EXCEPTIONS
There is a (4) week probation period for youth.
- Youth can be terminated for Behavior & Non-payment.

- Starting at 6:00 p.m. LATE FEES are $2.00 per minute. PICK-UP TIME is 6:00 pm
*If Late Pick-Up Occurs Two (2) times in ONE month, youth could be terminated.
- YOUTH that are NOT picked up by 6:30 p.m. are subject to POLICE PICK-UP and termination.
- JUNK food is NOT permitted in the morning as a meal. Your youth must have a Written Note on file to purchase from outside vendors (trucks). We will NOT be responsible for guardians who send youth to the truck without notifying Magna Prep, Inc.
- ALL YOUTH ARE REQUIRED TO BRING A PENCIL DAILY AFTER SCHOOL.
- We are not responsible for completing homework if youth forgets homework in class or at home.
- We do not provide access to the internet for school projects and online assignments.
- We ask parents/guardians to label their youth’s belongings because a large number of youth will have similar items.

- A FULL PAYMENT WEEK IS THREE (3) OR MORE OPERATING DAYS.
- WHEN SCHOOL CLOSES EARLY DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER THERE WILL BE NO PROGRAM FOR THAT DAY. PLEASE PICK UP YOUTH. THERE WILL BE NO STAFF ON THE PREMISES FOR YOUTH. MAGNA PREP IS CLOSED WHEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER&OTHER SCHEDULED CLOSINGS. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR. UNSCHEDULED DISMISSALS GUARDIANS ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS.
- YOUTH are on a (4) week PROBATION BEFORE YOUTH are OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED into the Program. Youth can be terminated for Behavior & Non-payment.
- We are not RESPONSIBLE for youth’s misplaced items.
- Photos of youth will only be used for company purposes(i.e. advertising on the website or company social media).
- Payments are to be made to Magna Prep-MONEY ORDER/CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD—-NO REFUNDS
- We do not do discounts or subtract fees if your child misses a week/ a few days; unless it is a death in the family or medical emergency. However, a medical note must be provided to support the claim.
- Youth can be suspended or terminated for behavior or lack of payment.
- BEFORE YOUTH CAN START WE NEED THESE ITEMS: COMPLETED APPLICATION-EMERGENCY CONTACT WITH CURRENT INFORMATION—CURRENT YOUTH’S COLOR PHOTO—COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE – CURRENT HEALTH RECORD/FORM – GUARDIAN’S I.D. – (2) WEEKS’ PAYMENT.
- Please Note: APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED WITH ALL ITEMS REQUESTED AND ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL.
- Youth will NOT start the program if the above is not submitted with the application.
