Summer Camp Terms of Service

Welcome,

Magna Prep Inc. would like to thank you for allowing us to share this summer with your youth(s). The organization looks forward to making this summer a pleasant experience for all children. For that process to begin please make sure you take your time and read through the application.

Furthermore, the company would like to thank you for your deposit to hold your youth spot for the summer camp. Yet, please be mindful that to maintain that spot for your youth in the program all applications must be returned to the location site director; along with the required documents must be attached to the application. Lastly, for all youth to have their spot in the camp guaranteed all financial requirements must be kept up to date. Completed Application packet includes the following:                        

  • Current Payments & Deposits
  • Copy of birth certificate                                         
  • Copy of guardian ID                                                              
  • Current health form

Payment Schedule + Cost:

  • May 1st – May 29th, 2025 — $50 (Deposit)
  • June 12, 2025 —  $200.00
  • June 22, 2025 — $100.00
  • July 6, 2025 —   $100.00
  • July 20, 2025 — $100.00

Total = $500.00 (6 weeks of camp after the $50 deposit). 

The $500 in fees includes:

  • Camp child care hours from 7:30 am – 5:00pm.
  • Total of 4 trips costs are included. 
  • Breakfast & Lunch are included. Youth must bring their own snack.
  • One shirt will be included (the shirt must be worn on trip days).

Registration: An entire application packet must be completed for each child. Please do not put information for more than one student on a form. By June 25, 2024, you will need to submit a recent (2024- 2026) physical, completed by a doctor, and shot records for your child. A summer day camp physical form is included in the application in the application packet. Enrollment is on a first-come basis.

Payments: All Payments are made via Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash App, or Cash. Note,

Note: Advance Bi-Weekly payments are required for camp services to secure Camper’s Placement. There are no refunds for vacation or illness. Late pick-up after 5 pm is a $20 charge! Payment is due when you arrive

Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel programs due to low enrollment. If sessions are/are canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be issued. There are NO fee waivers or refunds for sickness, illness, alleges, vacations, or lateness, if the youth misses the bus or for any reason. Trips and Activities are reserved before camp with the deposit; therefore, payment is required in full. There is no partial summer camp experience. There will be no payment reimbursement after the first Friday in June under no circumstances. 

Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Snack is not provided. Breakfast is served between 8:15 am and 8:45 am. Youth are encouraged to bring in an extra snack and WATER BOTTLE DAILY. Youth may not bring in peanuts or pork products. Youths are allowed to bring lunch, but only food that does not need to be heated.

Guardians Statement: I have read and fully understand the refund policy and registration information. Magna Prep Inc., Summer Camp reserves the right to dismiss from camp any student who demonstrates any disruptive or unsafe behavior with no refund. Magna Prep Inc. reserves the right to camel any camp or program that does not meet the minimum enrollment requirements.  Understanding that the safety standards will be met according to DPW code 55.370. I release Magna Prep Inc. and the Ziegler Elementary School from all possible claims for injury to person or property; that may arise from participation in all activities, and hereby consent and agree to hold harmless the school, its employees, agents, or representatives from any claim, liability, or expense arising out of or in any way connected with any alleged incident or injury resulting from such participation. In the event of a medical emergency, if either guardian or emergency contact is not available, I give Magna Prep Incorporated permission to transport my child to the nearest medical facility.  I further permit for the safe to seek any emergency medical treatment needed. 

Magna Prep Inc. Summer Camp Regulations:

  1. All program structure will be based on DPW code PA55.3720
  2. Youth that are not picked up by the departure time are subject to police/DHS pick-up.
  3. Youth are on 1 week probation before youth are officially accepted into the program. Youth can be terminated for behavior, contagious disease, non-payment at any time during the camp with no refunds.
  4. It is expected that you will dress modestly and appropriately. No Short-shorts or sandals.
  5. Magna Prep Inc. will not be giving out medication without notarized consent.
  6. Youth will be careful of the language that they use; be sure that there is no profanity(cursing) or course joking.
  7. There will be no use of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs on camp property or during camp.
  8. Public display of affection between boyfriends & girlfriends is not prohibited/appropriate for camp. No intimacy is permitted.
  9. Sexual harassment, drug possession, weapons in programs, sexing (via text or photos), or disrespect to Magna Prep Inc. staff is immediate cause for termination from the camp. No refund will granted.
  10. Youth will be under the supervision of all Magna Prep Inc., staff. It is expected that the youth will be cooperative and follow the instructions and guidelines from the camp staff to enforce a safe program.
  11. Our discipline is taking away free time, and suspension from trips or the camp. 
  12.  Interactions or disregard to Magna Prep Inc. camp rules and policies may constitute for grounds dismissal. The camper will be sent home at the guardian’s expense. A guardian conference with the Director or coordinator will be scheduled before the camper can return to the program.
  13. Magna Prep Inc. is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal property. 
  14. Campers photographs, quoted statements, or questions from youth may be used for the sole purpose of publicity for Magna Prep Incorporated. 
  15. All campers are to bring a daily snack. A $2 fee will be assessed to guardians for youth who come without a snack.

Our Camp Vision Statement:
We will succeed by creating an environment where everyone gets to be who they are. To do this we will need to maintain certain boundaries so that fun times are fun for everyone and more serious times are shared through understanding.

Our Camp Mission Statement:
We provide a place where youth can build healthy relationships. While teaching youth to take ownership and conviction of their choices so that they are well equipped to share it with others through word and action.

Our Expectations:

Be responsible…

By being on time. If you are going to be late for any reason, let the camp leader know in advance.
Each camper cleans up after themselves after activities and meals.
Each camper expected to participate in group and individual camp activities.

Each camper expected to keep their belongings secure and together.

Be respectful…
Always treat fellow camp members, visitors, leaders, and any guest speakers and presenters with dignity and respect.
All perspectives are to be listened to carefully and responded to in a courteous fashion. At no time should profanity or derogatory comments be made about an individual or their family members.

Do not physically or verbally abuse others. This means that under no circumstances should you bully, hit, gossip, throw something at, or coarse joking (make fun of another person).

Taking another youth or leader’s property is unacceptable unless express permission has been given to you by the owner of the object (i.e. cell phones, iPods, etc.)
All cell phones/iPods/electronic devices should be turned off during all activities unless otherwise stated.

Be safe…

At no time should a camper wander off or leave the camp or trip premises without adult supervision or prior permission. NO Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, weapons (fake or real), or fireworks permitted on-site.

By signing this document, you agree to abide by the above expectations and understand that failure to abide by said expectations can and will result in consequences as outlined on the reverse of this document.

Students who choose not to sign this document will not be permitted to attend any off-campus Creative Steps Inc. activity and will still be subject to the consequences for misbehavior at regular Magna Prep Incorporated.

                                                                                       

Magna Prep Inc. Consequences for Misbehaving:

The consequences for misbehavior outlined below aim to exemplify grace and forgiveness. It is our goal that any student who receives any offense learns from it and returns to Magna Prep Inc. with a clean slate. We desire to have all students participating in all activities and will not hold prior offenses against students who have already completed the consequences for such (assuming that a pattern does not emerge) – students are held accountable for their behavior, but not condemned).).

Consequences for Offenses:

  1. 1st Offense: The student will receive a verbal warning.
  2. 2nd Offense: The student will be pulled aside by a leader to discuss the logistics of the offense.
  3. 3rd Offense: The student will be pulled aside by a leader and will be asked to call his/her parents, explain why they are calling (i.e. what actions got them into trouble), and ask to be picked up immediately. At this time, the student will receive warning that the next offense will result in suspension from Magna Prep Inc., for 1-2 days (payments are non-refundable and will not be credited). Also, students can be excluded from the trip/activities that is planned on that day or any upcoming trips.
  4. 4th Offense: The student and his/her parent/guardian (s) will be notified that the student will not be allowed to return to Magna Prep Inc., for 1-3 days (depending on the severity of prior offenses) to think about their behavior. Youth can be terminated depending upon the severity of their behavior (payments are non-refundable and will not be credited).
  5. Magna Prep Inc.’s Director and camp leaders reserve the right to determine the severity of misbehaving and at the discretion of the may choose to skip or modify any of the above stated consequences.
  6. Students who reach 2nd, 3rd, 4th offense multiple times may lose privileges including, but not limited to, Magna Prep Inc., single day events (i.e. Swimming, Amusement Parks, etc.).
  7. Additionally, students who reach the 2nd, 3rd, 4th offense may also be subject to required meetings with the Director of the program and parent meetings prior to being allowed back at any above stated events or activities.
